Both of our summer interns started with us and have begun their summer research projects. Clara Barton is working on a soils project within the MSD path with longtime LREC volunteer and soil scientist, Scott George. Owen Katheriner is working on adding many new species of plants to our growing herbarium collection! Clara and Owen will be with us until August. They will host presentations later this summer on their projects.
