In spring 2020, LREC began sending out a series of emails to the LREC volunteers that we called the Deer Creek Chronicles. The emails contained stories of the area told by locals.
The first seven accounts are from a transcript of an audio recording of stories that volunteer Ray Potter related to Diane DuBois and Eddie Jones on the deck at LREC on May 23, 2016.

The next accounts were contributed by Bill Bascom: long-time Ladue resident, photographer, and Ray Potter accomplice. They were originally conveyed to a small group of individuals who may or may not have shared culpability in some of the forthcoming accounts.
