My name is Dane Treiber. I am currently studying Environmental Science at Saint Louis University. This summer at LREC I plan on researching the soil quality of the MSD pipeline reconstruction prairie and comparing it to previous data to provide insight on how native prairies improve soil quality. I am a member of the Track and Field team at SLU which keeps me busy for most of the year, but in my free time I enjoy all things outdoors, especially hiking, rock climbing, and fishing.

My name is Maddie Wood and I am an incoming junior at Miami University (Ohio) studying botany. I am interested in the plant diversity at Litzsinger and the process of prairie reconstruction. I plan to research flower morphology during my internship this summer!
