We’re pleased to have Ximena Gallegos Gutierrez as our education intern this summer. She is in the US on a Fulbright Scholarship, pursuing a master’s degree in environmental studies at Antioch University New England. (Fun fact: Susan and Bob both earned their master’s degrees there too, and Bob served a term on their board of trustees.) Before moving to the US to pursue her dreams, Ximena worked in Peru in different educational positions and traveled across the country to enjoy contact with nature and the picturesque landscape. After completing her graduate studies, she hopes to work with teachers back in Peru as they connect their students with their communities. If you want to learn more about sloths—one of her big passions—reach out to her.
