We are happy to welcome Wendi Martin to the LREC team this spring! Wendi is our first full-time spring horticulture intern, and in her first few days she has already been a big help with a large transplanting project. While she will be working on a variety of projects, she will be focusing on invasive plant removal and transplanting spring ephemerals. Wendi is currently working on a horticulture degree at St. Louis Community College – Meramec and is hoping to find a job in the conservation field when she is finished.
